Meg is a columnist, poet, and Dartmouth College graduate. She wrote a regionally syndicated column, “Record Straight,” examining local politics and American culture for the Eagle Times (Claremont, NH); Rutland Herald (Rutland, VT) and Times Argus (Montpelier, VT). Archives can also be found in the Bennington Banner (Bennington, VT) and The Berkshire Eagle (Pittsfield, MA).
Prior to heading Vermonters for Health Care Freedom (VHCF), she owned Pierson A. Harleth & Co., a communications firm based in Windsor, Vermont.
Meg trained in medicine (MBBS) in India, where she was born, Indeed, she boarded her first flight at the age of seven months. She also studied fashion in Florence, Italy.
Though Meg has lived in many fascinating cities across the globe, her heart feels most at home in the tranquil and sylvan hills of Vermont.
